LIVE on podunkradio.com it's THE ENDERS

The Enders are preparing to get into the studio March 18, 2012 to record their first full length album titled "The Ruins Of Ambition"

As any band knows, sometimes touring and e.p. sales alone don't quite cover the cost of recording and producing an album, and these Indiana boys are going all out to give you, the fan, the best they can offer.

They will step into the Sonic Iguana Studios (think the Methadones, Moral Crux, Anti- Flag, Rise Against, etc..) where they will guided by the very capable hands of the legendary Mass Giorgini who has done amazing work with the Queers, Rise Against, Anti-Flag and many more of the punk bands you all know and love (or secretly hate).

Benny and the boys are planning on spending the afternoon with us here at podunkradio.com today beginning 3pm cst, hosted by the notorious Glendale Punk, in order to promote this endeavor and even rewarding donors with special a special prize pack. For a limited time (while supplies last) for every $25.00 donation you will receive their original e.p.; now retied and out of print, 2 stickers, and a button to proudly wear on your jacket into the next pit you find yourself in as well as securing a pre-order of the forthcomign album. AND podunkradio.com will be kicking in prizes as well (we have lots of neat things stored away here in studio 13500) Donate what you can, every penny counts.

And now, here's a little info about the band;

Genre: punk hardcore, hardcore punk. something like that.
Members:

Canadian Pete- bass and backing vocals
Omar Villarreal- drums and backing vocals
Former Enders:

About: EST. 2009.
Description: We play punk rock that sounds sorta hardcore... or hardcore that sorta sounds punk rock... whatever, it's all semantics.
Biography: Established in late 2009. Hardcore flavored punk rock or Punk Rock flavored hardcore... we don't play to fit any notion of labeling. A few growing pains later, we're on Unrepentant Records and touring. It's what we do.
Current Location: Indiana
General Manager: self-managed
Influences: Caffeine, angst, and every punk-Oi-hardcore band you ever heard.

Top 20 Signs that you might be a Typical American Worker.

The following are 20 signs you might be a typical American worker….

#2 If your job involves asking the question “Would you like fries with that?”, you might be a typical American worker.
#3 If you shop at the dollar store because Wal-Mart is too expensive, you might be a typical American worker.
#4 If your job requires you to wear a smock, a brightly colored polo shirt or lots of “flair”, you might be a typical American worker.
#5 If people are constantly asking you where the restroom is while you are at work, you might be a typical American worker.
#6 If your employer hires extra part-time workers in order to avoid giving anyone full-time hours, you might be a typical American worker.
#7 If you are required to watch a mindless “training video” after being hired, you might be a typical American worker.
#8 If the company you work for is owned by someone on the other side of the world, you might be a typical American worker.
#9 If a trained seal could do your job and you feel like your expensive education is going to waste, you might be at typical American worker.
#10 If you don’t have any health insurance at all, you might be a typical American worker.  Only about 25 percent of all part-time workers in the United States receive employee benefits such as health insurance or paid sick leave.
#11 If your car is older than your kids are, you might be a typical American worker.
#12 If you can’t afford to buy the things that you are selling to the public, you might be a typical American worker.

#15 If it costs more to fill up your car with gas than you will make at your job today, you might be a typical American worker.  The price of gasoline has increased by 83 percent since Barack Obama first took office, and the average cost of a gallon of gas in the United States is now up to $3.52.
#16 If you eat your cereal with a fork so that you can save milk, you might be a typical American worker.
#17 If your electricity bill keeps going up but your paycheck never does, you might be a typical American worker.
#18 If it feels like you are losing an organ every time you pay for health insurance each month, you might be a typical American worker.
#19 If you feel like your employer is constantly tempted to replace you with someone younger and cheaper, then you might be a typical American worker.
#20 If you are so poor that you cannot even afford to pay attention, you might be a typical American worker.
Unfortunately, a lot more Americans are going to be forced into working these kinds of jobs if current trends continue.

Section 242 has been around for while it used to be called Assault and Battery. It was a promotion group started in 1999 of friends that wanted to get their bands heard. The bands were Scoi's Evil Boys, The Retards, CCD, and many other short lived bands. We had all decided to help each other out and start a movement of underground punk rock bands uniting to bring the scene together in the Inland Empire. Many bands have come and gone but only few of the musicians have still kept the dream alive. Section 242 is some of those last remaining members of bands that are no longer around due to drugs, alcohol, amongst things. Vic the Prick has been playing since 1994 in such bands as Vaporized, Nite Breed, Whisky Dick, The Corrupt and Colton Disposal.Eric Armpit Dickensauge was a strong supporter of those bands but did not get into the musician part until when Vic offered to teach him how to play bass as a hobby after just being released from jail for assault and battery. That was how The Evil Boys were formed. That band eventually ran its course and faded away after countless rumbles and band initiated riots. They had been black listed all over the IE. Pit went to This Guns For Hire then to The Knuckas While Vic was lost in Alcoholism due to a troubled personal life. One year later Vic came back and joined Colton Disposal as a fill in for Goon who had sum heart issues at the time. he played for them on and off for 3 years and decided to start his own projects (the Corrupt Short lived). Brandon the skunk Sullivan was A drunken disaster motivated by Vic into getting back into music cause he needed a drummer. that was short lived. due to the raging alcohol driven disaster. Brandon went on to play for the Knuckas for a Short time then all 3 members rejoined to form Section 242. We have added a couple of new members in late 2011 Chucky Harsh and Jerm and it has made a huge improvement in the music. And now all hell has broken out with this hardcore punk sound. Hope you ENJOY. (from reverbnation page)

Hudson Falcons - Sleep, Drive, Rock n Roll, Repeat - Review.

★★★★★★★★★☆ 9 of 10
i'd say 10 but i was really hoping for more unreleased tracks on this one.

The Hudson Falcons are not a punk band to be taken lightly and their upcoming release "Sleep, Drive, Rock 'n' Roll, Repeat" reminds us of that fact all too well.

The upcoming release, set to be released on I Hate People Records April 6th 2012 is a showcase of what Hudson Falcons have been doing for the past 12 years. Punk Fucking Rock! That's what. And if the re-releases aren't enough to assure you they've packed in a  couple of new tracks to prove that these kids still know what's up.

The finger-slide work on the intro of the title track is a classic demonstration of the way this band can fuse any sound seamlessly into punk rock and still remain reminiscent of all of rock and roll's roots. This release reflects Hudson Falcons’ diversity as a punk band that isn't so much hell bent on defining what punk is but rather, a primer in where punk comes from.

I have listened to this promo 3 times now and it just gets better every time. Definitely worthy of getting set on repeat for the day.

Be sure and visit I Hate People Records when this is released, pick up a copy  and revel in the sound of the working class.

Hudson Falcons Upcoming Release - Sleep Drive, Rock 'n'Roll, Repeat

I Hate People Records will be releasing "Sleep, Drive, Rock 'n' Roll, Repeat" a retrospective of the HUDSON FALCONS. This will feature Falcons songs from over the last 12 year including a couple of unreleased tracks followed by a six week European tour.

Started back in 1997, the HUDSON FALCONS played more than 1300 shows and released 5 full lenght records, a bunch of split singles, a singles collection and still going strong.
Their mixture of Rock`n`Roll and Punkrock combined with fast guitar solos and a rough voice is their trademark. Though likely best known in punk circles, the HUDSON FALCONS don’t neatly fit into that genre—or, in fact, any genre. Linskey echoes the prevailing sentiment among true music lovers—there is only good music and bad music. And, for Linskey, good music means music without boundaries, without compromise, and without fear.

While the rest of the music world tries to figure out a way to make the 21st-century music lover aware of great bands, the HUDSON FALCONS have followed the old-fashioned route: touring, touring, touring, repairing the van, and then more touring (“Sleep, Drive, Rock ‘N’ Roll, Repeat” is both one of their songs and a HUDSON FALCONS mantra). Over the years, the HUDSON FALCONS have made a habit of offering impassioned, straight-from-the-gut performances. Regardless of the city, the turnout, or the general hazards that life on the road brings, the HUDSON FALCONS come out with all guns firing when they hit the stage, never delivering a show that is anything less than heartfelt and hell-raising.

Constantly touring and a lot of heart and passion helped them to built up a big fan base all over the continent. No matter what city, no matter how many people the HUDSON FALCONS come out with all guns firing when they hit the stage, never delivering a show that is anything less than heartfelt and hell-raising.

For the sadly uninitiated, here’s a little of what you can expect from the HUDSON FALCONS: churning, slashing guitars; a pounding, forceful rhythm; covers of everybody from Willie Dixon to the Dictators; and, throughout, Linskey’s gritty, honest vocals, which carry a hard-earned realism most bands are never able to find. Simply put, the HUDSON FALCONS deal in honest, rock and roll songs, best heard where they were likely first formed—on the open road, with burdens getting further behind with every mile marker.

Linskey and the HUDSON FALCONS will never stray from their mission to be a voice for the unsung, working-class heroes of the world, and now with the hard-rocking intensity of four full-length studio records in their pockets and “Dancing Underneath the Moonlight” on the way, HUDSON FALCONS stands poised to bring their message of truth, justice, and the Falcon way back out to the masses.

The road beckons once again, so the HUDSON FALCONS must heed the call. Armed with a newfound purpose to explore the influences the road has provided, the HUDSON FALCONS are ready to carry the torch for the lonely, the desperate, the determined—the ones who need rock and roll now more than ever.

Thanks to the HUDSON FALCONS, help is definitely on the way.

Bandit 66 - Bekasi Indonesian

Bandit 66 is a hardcore punk band that started in 1999 with members Fosil, Burhan, Iqbal, Adit. Due to Deaths in prisons and violence in the streets the band now consists of members Tommy on guitar and vocals, David bass and backing vocals and Genk on drums.

They started the band when they were studying together at the Faculty of International Relations at the UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta.

The band has been thorough many obstacles since 1999 however they remain to be creative and keep fighting against the system that oppresses and they shout their protests to the world through their music that they were damaged by the rotten bureaucrats they keep trying to be honest, work hard and will not follow the market as they are individuals in the world and will continue to be creative and protest through their music.
Which comes to their theme song Street Violence this describes everything about the journey of their life, social criticism, rebellion and how to survive.

Their song Blast Off tells about their members and how they were framed after smoking marijuana with a friend, after two months in prison they lost a band member (RIP) Adit, the song also tells about violence in their streets and how to survive in their country and perhaps in other countries like theirs.
