New Vinyl from STREETROCK RECORDS

New vinyl releases now available!

Los Angeles-based Streetrock Records proudly announces the release of 2 new vinyl records to our growing catalog: KRIEGS LEGION - "War Bastard" (12" vinyl on 3 colors) and THUG BOOTS - "The Justice" (black vinyl EP). Both are limited 500 piece pressings. Details are below.
All Streetrock Records releases are streamed via our BANDCAMP PAGE and hard copies or digital promotional materials for reviewers are available upon request. Domestic and international wholesale rates and exchanges are also available.

Hailing from the industrial wasteland formerly known as Detroit, KRIEGS LEGION is a veritable super-group of underground punk and metal veterans, members performing in numerous acts (both together and apart) since the late 1980's! After forming in 2013 and spending the last year pounding the club circuit in the Detroit area, the band makes its debut release on Streetrock Records!

War Bastard is a unique and powerful fusion of hardcore punk and metal that will leave enthusiasts of both genres more than satisfied! The band recently filmed a video set to one of the harder hitting tracks on the album, No Monopoly on Violence, at the Corktown Tavern in Detroit that has been widely distributed on social media and YouTube. It can be viewed here:http://youtu.be/ktd2Ao7MfCU

War Bastard was released on cd format in December, and is now available on 12" vinyl, limited to 200 pieces each on gold w/ black marbled or grey wax, and 100 pieces on standard black. The vinyl version includes a digital download card and two-sided insert with complete lyrics, credits, and band photos, packaged in a 3 mil poly sleeve.
The full release is currently beingstreamed on Bandcamp and available for digital download (individual songs or complete album) there and all major digital retailers.

THUG BOOTS is a newer Oi!/Punk band based out of Houston, Texas.  While these guys may be new on the scene, they have an old school sound that made quite an impression on us and many others, so we jumped at the chance to get them rolling! The band has been making a name for themselves playing regular local gigs and are now ready to hit the American Oi/punk scene with full force! GIVE UP (zine) has introduced the band rather nicely:
“Joining the ranks of fellow boots likeConcrete and Roots of Exile, Houston’s Thug Boots are helping to fill the gap in what may have once been considered a lagging Texas Oi scene.  Featuring current and former members of such disparate acts as Ten Crowns,The BurdenBlack CoffeeFight Pretty, and The Streetdogs, Thug Boots have served their time and paid their dues both on stage and off, solidifying a name in Texas hardcore, playing a perfect mix of traditional American Oi and punk, they’ve found their own voice, creating a sound that stands out as modern while still remaining true to tradition.”

This debut release comes in the form of a 7" black vinyl EP containing 4 songs:Steel Cap ThunderForeign Policy,Brother, and Brickwall Battalion. Packaging includes a folder-style jacket with complete lyrics and band photo inside, inside a 3 mil poly sleeve. The first track from the EP is current beingstreamed on Bandcamp and the entire release will be available for digital download shortly.
Working Poor USA joined the Streetrock Records roster in January 2015. Based out of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, the band is a veteran Oi!/Punk/Street Rock outfit featuring former member of numerous east coast punk and hardcore acts, such as the AntibodiesGRIMBoozin Hooligans, and The Ill Fated, to name a few.
Test pressings for the bands' self-titled debut EP have been approved as of January 2015 and we are currently putting the finishing touches on artwork and layout for release ASAP. This will be another limited pressing on red, blue, and black 7" vinyl featuring 5 songs and will include digital download cards containing 2 bonus tracks not on the vinyl version! The title track is currently being streamed on Bandcamp. Stay tuned for more news from this great new outfit!
